About Failure

We have been experiencing major failure lately. Do we care? Not really. Part of failure’s results is sadness obviously, but also learning. We have been failing so much and learning so much that you can almost say we are simultaneously winning. How can failure be so bad when you are moving with so much momentum that you are doing both failing and succeeding at the same time. One thing we do not allow is absolute failure. To us, these failures we are talking about are failing in experimentation. Absolute failure means a loss of progress, small or otherwise. What this means is that we are always towing the line or reeling it in. Experimentation in failure is reeling in the line. Failure in towing the line and staying stable is absolute failure which we do not tolerate at all.
